Join CityChurch on Saturday, October 25th, starting at 4pm, as we celebrate fall together! The 22nd annual Fall Festival includes:
• Fall Festival games for kids
• Our Chili Cookoff, Pork BBQ Smokeoff, and Pie Bakeoff
• A Costume Contest
• Tons of candy
• Bonfire and More!
All of this is included and FREE for everyone!! Be sure to bring lawn chairs for your group, and come enjoy this wonderful time of fellowship and fun. Find details on various aspects of Fall Festival below:
Cooking Competitions
Sign up for the Chili Cookoff, Pork BBQ Smokeoff, and Pie Bakeoff by dropping your sign-up card in the buckets at the Giving Station or at citychurchob.com/events no later than Saturday, October 25th, at noon. All contestants must arrive at the Judges' Table (next to the exterior double doors downstairs) no later than 4pm on the 25th. All plates/crockpots and utensils MUST be picked up between 6:30 and 7:00pm. CityChurch is not responsible for items not picked up.
Chili Cookoff
Bring (A) a crockpot full of chili and (B) a ladle to serve it with. You will sign in and be assigned a number for your chili and ladle. You may enter as many chilis as you wish, but each entry must have its own crockpot and ladle.
BBQ Smokeoff
Bring (A) your best smoked pork and (B) a serving utensil to serve it with. You will sign in and be assigned a number for your BBQ and utensil. You may enter as many different BBQs as you like, but each entry must have its own dish and utensil. Please provide at least three (3) pounds of meat per entry.
Pie BakeOff
Bring (A) two identical pies and (B) a serving utensil to serve them with. You will sign in and be assigned a number for your pie and utensil. You may enter as many pies as you like, but each pie must include one pie for the judges and an identical pie to be served to those in attendance.
Costume Contest
Enter the costume contest by registering at the Registration Table upon arrival. We ask that each costume be non-scary and appropriate for viewing by all ages. We will have judging in the following categories: kids (5th grade and under), Teens (6th through 12th grade), and Groups (two or more correlated costumes). Contestants must be present when judging begins at 6pm.
